A room in a standard flatshare in Annemasse costs less. It's also usually 9-12 m², with no pool, no sauna, no gym, cleaning left to you, and a landlord you have to chase.
Here: a 17-23 m² room — up to twice the usual market size —, generous common areas, a garden, and amenities no local flatshare offers: pool, sauna, gym. A real team maintains the house — professional cleaning twice a week (moving to 3×/week, already live at Le Lodge), gardener, pool technician — and your issues get answered within 48 hours. Community life is organised, not hoped for: monthly parties, summer events, Halloween, Christmas, girls' nights.
Do the math per square metre: we're at market price — for twice the home. Add what's included (utilities, fibre, gym, sauna, cleaning: count CHF 250-400/month if paid separately) and the comparison flips.
If you're after the lowest rent in the area, that's not us — and we'd rather tell you straight. If you compare what every franc buys you, come visit a house.
